MyBlockbusterThe purpose of the campaign is to resurrect Blockbuster's projected downfall in the near future due to it's most powerful competitors; Netflix and Rebox. The goal is (not to be too obvious) ultimately, to generate revenues enough to win over the competition and stay on track with digital advertising. Much of which is clearly lacking.
NetFlix and Rebox: They are close, but... just not quite there. Where's the smell of popcorn? The convenience of movie theater hot dogs and pretzels at the concessions. We have the picture and the sound, but where's the rest of the experience?
Introducing MyBlockbuster™, the Rest of the Experience.

"Dinner and Movie" -- At the click of a few buttons, you can order your favorite movie theater food, candy, or drinks from MyBlockbuster's Fast Concession Stand. Or you can browse through a list of preferred food delivery providers and have it all delivered to your door within minutes, along with your selected movies.
Can't forget the iPhone app
The usage of this application opens up a brand new market of revenue.
1. Businesses will start gossiping. The minute consumers begin to use MyBlockbuster™, companies will push for ad spots on MyBlockbuster. The result is that Blockbuster now makes advertising dollars.
2. 50% decrease in overhead.
3. MyBlockbuster's iPhone app royalties. Likely a free app, so revenues come from further ad spots.
4. Consumers stop using Netflix and no longer have to physically travel to a Rebox for pickups and returns. At this point, Netflix and Redbox are only movies, nothing more.
Soon after, Little Caesar's Pizza wants to capture some of this hype (now that it's become a consumer convenience and revenue generator) and open up "Little Caesar's Delivery." Following ad copies on each location, "That's right, we said delivery!" And with the same $5.00 pizza. Five dollars might seem like a pointless delivery job, but now that customers are calling Little Caesar's for the first time in business, Little Caesar's will then offer a their weekly special over the phone which includes the breadsticks and drinks. This way the traveling costs for what used to be a $5.00 is now profitable and now Little Caesar's has an added source of revenue.
